The Proverbial Bridge to Nowhere (Continued 3)
I decided to discontinue writing blogs and spend my efforts on discussion groups. I posted the following thoughts on The Power of Light group.
"Helping others help themselves is the reason I'm a member of the Gaia Community. With this in mind, "Everything begins in the mind," you can't beat experience. I've been around 83 years. My education has been in the school of hard knocks. I've found my bliss. If life could be any better, I don't know how."
"Many of my Gaia friends call themselves progressives, the idea being that we've progressed since the founders of American principles wrote the Constitution."
"Indeed, we have progressed, in fact so much that we don't need authorities to direct our lives. The proof is there of how it all comes together. The idea behind the Constitution goes back to the Roman jurist Cicero."
"In his De Legibus, Cicero, identifying "right reason" with those qualities of human nature whereby "man is associated with the gods," he assigns the binding quality of civil law itself to its being in harmony with such universal attributes of human nature. Cicero asserts that "we are born for justice, and right is not the mere arbitrary construction of opinion, but an institution of nature. (This thought comes from The ‘Higher Law' Background of American Constitutional Law.)"
"There are some principles that don't change. It is fine to be progressive as along as you keep in mind that you can't change the laws of nature."
"Not many understand quantum physics. Quantum physics takes the universe apart and examines the pieces. We are forced to admit that in the mix you cannot leave out consciousness. Says quantum physicist, Evan Harris Walker, in The Physics of Consciousness, under "A God for Tomorrow," "We have discovered proof that we exist as something more than pieces of matter. In the development of quantum theory, the observer emerges as a co-equal in the foundry of creation."
"Therefore, if you say we've progressed beyond the principles written in the Constitution, you are really limiting yourself to the past authoritarian ages. I refer you to Genises 1:26: "And God said, Let us make man in our image." St. Augustine said: "Distinguish the ages, and the Scriptures harmonize." The progressive order of the universe, and how it deals with humanity, leaves us with increasing purpose which runs through and links together the ages, from the beginning of the life of man to the end in eternity. (This thought in the introduction of my Scofield Reference Bible.)"
"Existentialist Nietzsche wondered if God made a mistake in man or man made a mistake in God. If you think there is no god, you are denying that you exist in a state of limitless awareness. Reverend Scofield in the introduction to his Bible wrote: ‘The saying that anything may be proved by the Bible is both true and false-true if isolated passages are used; utterly false if the whole divine revelation is in view.'"
"If you look to the authorities for help, whether they be religious or secular, you are helping them, not yourself. When I was age 49, I decided to ignore the authorities and help myself. From that point on, when everything should have gone wrong, everything went right."
I've since not been able to post anything to The Power of Light group. My posts are not accepted. Could it be that someone doesn't like my thoughts?
My Comment on "The Age of Aquarius: Are You Ready"
"Would you like to hear my tale about when the moon is in the Seventh House? Interestingly, when I was born, Aquarius was on my Ascendant, the point at which the eastern horizon intersects the ecliptic. (In astrology, everything is Pythagorean geometrics.) Aquarius is in my First House, the "I AM THAT I AM" house, the God-self house, if you will. In this location, it is called my "rising sign," when the sun rose on my life on planet Earth. In that the sun travels across the surface of Earth at approximately 900 m.p.h., in order to know my rising sign, an astrologer must know where I was born and the exact time of my birth. I was born in Houston, Texas on September 17, 1925 at 4:51 P.M.C.S.T. No question about it. I'm Aquarius rising."
"Out of eleven signs, one for Fire, one for Air, I've five earth signs, meaning practicality, and four water signs, meaning psychic quality. I've two Cardinal Signs meaning realistic grasp of the situation. I've four Fixed Signs, meaning perseverance, and five Mutable Signs, meaning flexible. My Sun was in the sign of Virgo when I was born. My Sun, Mars, Moon and Mercury were in my Seventh House when I was born making me a double Virgo. Also, in that the Seventh House is the house of partners, partners would be most important in my life. Unfortunately, Neptune was on the cusp of my Seventh House. This would make for misunderstandings in partnerships. After three unsuccessful marriages, after I found my real self and my path of destiny, mysteriously, when the moon was in my Seventh House, my soul mate for life appeared. In the song, Aquarius,
When the moon is in the Seventh House,
and Jupiter aligns with Mars,
Then peace will guide the planets,
And love will steer the stars."
"We note that peace will guide us, not the planets. Love will guide us, not the stars. What guides the stars? Love and peace are aspects of our human nature, the immaterial essence of our being, our animating principle or actuating cause of life: our souls."
"Given the way I view my world, it so happens that in the month and year of my birth, Werner Heisenberg published his uncertainty principle. Heisenberg was the father of quantum mechanics, and Hitler's atom bomb builder. I was born at the dawn of the atomic age."
"At the time of this writing, with Saturn in its worst aspect with Pluto, meaning "a widespread sense of epochal closure: ‘the end of an era,' ‘the end of innocence,' the destruction of an earlier mode of life that in retrospect may seem to have been marked by widespread indulgence, decadence, naivete, denial, and inflation." This says Richard Tarnas in Cosmos and Psyche.
"You can guess that I would hold it very important at this scary time to understand the real meaning of progressive, as distinguished from political progressive. "The Dispensations are distinguished, exhibiting the majestic, progressive order of the divine dealings of God with humanity, ‘the increasing purpose' which runs through and links together the ages, from the beginning of the life of man to the end in eternity. Augustine said: ‘Distinguish the ages, and the Scriptures harmonize." Rev. C.I. Scofield wrote this in the Introduction of The Scofield Reference Bible.
"Speaking to the political progressive, biologist Julian Huxley, in his essay, The Future of Man, explains our increasing purpose with ,"Man's exploration and control of external nature has outdone his exploration and control of his own nature." Look within for your answers. You can see from my chart that any notion that we are mechanical men, and that we can be taught to jump through authority's hoops, would set me off. Nero fiddles while Rome burns. For shame, America!"
"An examination of my astrological chart has amazed me. There are too many coincidences to be called coincidence. My examination further finds that I did not for the first 49 years of my life adhere to the positive aspects in my chart, by reason that my ruling planet, Uranus, was opposed to Mars when I was born. I was one of the victims of circumstances blaming my bad luck on other people. By the time I was in my 40s, Uranus had transited to a position opposite its position when I was born. I would be under pressure to change. And change I did. When I was 49, with my business career on the rocks and my second wife divorcing me, this God-self departed from my old life. I went to sea on a small boat. There was nothing but the sea, the heavens, and me. At the same time, a tiny speck, I was the only living entity in the scene. I learned the power that existed in me. The inexplicable occurred during my time at sea."
Wouldst thou know the secret of the sea?
Only those who brave its dangers,
Comprehend its mystery.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"A couple of years before my departure, heading for my rebirth (I've now the soul of an Aquarian), I had a "bigger than life calling." I determined that federal income tax, as it was being implemented, was unconstitutional. My determination got me an IRS audit. Interestingly, in 1925, the year of my birth, the IRS was authorized to examine personal income records, a first step in making us all tax slaves. Now wouldn't you know that the IRS examination of my income records found that I was cheating? They took my bate, hook, line, and sinker. I was ready for the IRS. Their audit resulted in an 11 year legal battle. The U.S. income tax code is so ambiguous and deliberately corrupt that if the IRS chooses to it can find any taxpayer cheating. In the end, the IRS admitted on the front page of the Local Section of The Palm Beach Post that it had illegally (and unconstitutionally) robbed me of my property in the interest of the government's redistribution scheme; that is, a New Deal of cards off the bottom of the deck. I was kept out of sight out of mind while the IRS did its dirty work, while judges looked the other way. So much for transparent government."
"The United States admitted to the world that it deliberately and unconstitutionally robbed me of my property for 11 years. (They called it a "mistake.") And there was not a peep from anyone. Why? Because taxpayers know very well that the courts look the other way when government abuses the taxpayer. You people of color can tell us that we cannot expect to be free when we don't demand our rights."
"We should all know that government is not our keeper; it's our taskmaster. Once the horse is out of the gate, as history records, out of expedience, there is no telling what government will do. We are now witness to the United States placing an astronomical burden of debt on generations of future taxpayers. Next, out of expedience, it will be concentration camps. As history records, government will not give up control until forced to."
"Interestingly, on July 4, 1776, the day the representatives of the American people signed the Declaration of Independence, thereby signing their death warrants if England's King George ever got his hands on them, the United States was born under the sign of Aquarius. The sign of Aquarius says, ‘Don't fence me in.'"
"In view of the direction the United States is steering the ship of state, it is interesting to note that we are now moving from the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius. The symbol for Pisces is two fish swimming in opposite directions. The symbol for Aquarius is the water-bearer of humanity. As previously mentioned, at this particular time, starting in the month and year that Barrack Obama was elected president of the United States, November 2008, Saturn went into its most unfavorable alignment with Pluto, and at a time when the world is sitting on a powder keg. In this connection, in the month and year of my birth, September, 1925, Werner Heisenberg published his uncertainty principle, the forerunner of quantum mechanics. Heisenberg was Hitler's atom bomb builder. Iran will soon have the atom bomb. I was born at the dawn of the atomic age. It could all soon end with humanity history written in the rocks. America is heading for the proverbial Battle of Armageddon."
"But take heart, my Gaia friends! Every cause produces an effect. There will be a contraction in government, a conservative reaction the likes of which the world has never before seen. This will be followed with a crossing of the threshold into the Age of Aquarius. All of the customs, laws, and religions will succumb to the "Higher Law" of nature and nature's "God.," For-When the moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, Then peace will guide the planets, And love will steer the stars. Aquarius! Aquarius!
I joined the "Now I Can See the Moon" discussion group. I introduced myself with this:
"In my chart, My Sun, Moon, Mars, and Mercury are in my Seventh House, the house of partners. It makes partners the most important in my life. In the song Aquarius,
When the moon is in the Seventh House,
And Jupiter aligns with Mars,
Then peace will guide the planets,
And love will steer the stars."
"With Neptune on the cusp of my Seventh House, it means I would be susceptible to misunderstanding in partnership matters. When I departed Flower Mound, at age 49, I was divorcing my second wife. The divorce trial was on September 8, 1975. I did well. We had just passed the new moon in the Seventh House, which correlates with legal action. That was a positive for me. My Sun in the Ninth House was a positive. My astrologer named other positives. But the big plus for me was "the part of fortune in my chart." My astrologer told me this indicated that there is a potential to gain from people who are secretly working against me.
During my time at sea, I married my first mate. She wasn't meant to be my mate ashore. She left me. Two weeks after she left, my fourth wife appeared. When the moon is in the Seventh House love will steer the stars. In other words, our consciousness is in touch with cosmic consciousness, which steers the stars. By the way, my transiting Jupiter opposed Venus in my Eighth House on April 4, 1976, the day I met my third wife. My astrologer had warned me to guard against that. Venus represents a women I might meet on April 4th. It's a minus, he told me."
On the first date with my fourth wife, a hike in the mountains near Mt. Saint Helens, on May 18, 1980, we were sitting on a log chatting when Karen said. "I want our's to be a platonic relationship." At that very moment, we were made aware of the eruption. I think of it as a symbol-after a calamity, hope and renewal. Later, I asked Karen why she said that. She didn't know. "It just popped out."
"Fifteen years later, a friend gave Karen an "Astrological Compatibility" printout he had produced from a program in his computer. In it I read, "Your relationship with Karen, the platonic thing was there from the start, and there is a sense of the brotherly and sisterly between you. Even if lovers, you will always be, first and foremost, good friends." The moment I met Karen, I had the feeling I was meeting an old friend I'd not seen for a long time."
"Believe or disbelieve that we're directly in communication with cosmic consciousness. It isn't any wonder to me that I can say if life could be any better, I don't know how?
God bless you
I was invited to add more of my input, so here's what I added to "Now I Can See the Moon."
"Yea, I see the moon, but let's discuss our guilt trip. When we look at the moon, we're looking at a body reflecting the sun's light. When we zoom out, we see the moon circling our water planet, a living organism; it allows life as we know it to flourish. So, let us zoom in on Mother Earth. By the sun's light, we see that Mother Earth is ill and we're the cause."
"We know how we make our lives happen. When I reached the age of sexual awareness, my parents handed me a book that said if I even thought about sex I was committing a mortal sin. This idea comes from the story in the Holy Bible of Adam and Eve. When they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they looked at their naked bodies and were ashamed. They covered themselves with fig leaves. The result: We are born in sin. How outrageous can we get?
In one of Aesop's Fables, we learn about the old woman who killed the goose that laid the golden egg. Fables teach us morals. The story of Adam and Eve was told by ancient authority, which wanted to control us, rather than though reason and logic, through guilt. How often do you do something, or not do something, out of the guilty feeling you know you would have if you did or did not do it? Think of the times you were titillated to do something forbidden that you knew would make you feel guilty. When I was fourteen, I lost my virginity. If I'd have gone to the church authority, by God's grace, I could have been forgiven for committing a mortal sin. I forgave myself and continued having sex every chance I got. Too many of us, all because of authority's efforts to control us, forgive ourselves and assume the freedom to do all manner of wrongs. The human beings I was using for my own pleasure were none of my concern. What I was doing was legal. If the girls I used let me have what I wanted out of love, that was their problem. What does it tell us when the President of the United States has sex in the Oval Office? Look at the representation we have in Washington, D.C. and weep! What if we were educated to be aware of the very real consequences of the freedom I gave myself? I was lucky. I could have gotten myself into a heap of trouble."
"In the introduction of my Scofield Reference Bible, I read this: ‘All of the connected topical lines of reference end in analytic summaries of the whole teaching of Scripture on that subject, thus guarding the reader against hasty generalizations from a few passages or proof texts. The saying that ‘anything may be proved by the Bible' is both true and false-true if isolated passages are used; utterly false if the whole divine revelation is in view.' A moral pertains to principle-the right thing to do. The guilt trip pertains to an attempt play on the emotions for the purpose of external control."
"Poor old Mother Earth! The story of Adam and Eve was put in the Bible as a misrepresentation for the purpose of control. Religious zealots reading isolated passages of Scripture rationalize their murderous acts and start holy wars. The winner is more holy than thou. Because we refuse to admit the truth of the matter, we are heading toward making ourselves history written in the rocks-killing the living organism cosmic consciousness put here for our growth and development.
A more complete understanding of the workings of the universe tells us there are immutable laws of motion, but there are happenings as a result of cosmic consciousness, of which we are capable of being aware. Such awareness makes us self-governed; we don't need self-serving external authority directing our lives. It's the guilt trip that makes us victims of external control. The world's authorities merely address the problems they create. Mother Earth is sick.."
"We find now that Mother Earth is moving away from the Age of Pisces, an age of authoritarian control, and into the Age of Aquarius. We Aquarians are independent, resourceful, self-reliant, and personally responsible. This is a transitory time. I'm pleased to report that we are heading toward the realization of our full potential."
The Moderator, KES said "We are not talking of the moon literally. It is an analogy. I may move this thing written as this section is introductions. I will read and decide where to put it.
I know I am going to move this conversation and will write to you personally." After reading my piece, KES said: "Talking of sex and dead moon I couldn't think with the intention and generalities and moved this here if you care to explain. Otherwise we run a very clean ethical group and I keep it that way."
KES called my piece, "talking sex and dead moon," this thing, as though it was a piece of stinking, profane garbage.
My reply: "Now I can see the moon," is not a monologue, is it? I mean, we all see the moon in our own way. The substance of ethical is that it be sanctioned, or at any rate not forbidden. How can we at the same time be "very clean;" that is, ignoring evil, and be "ethical." ‘I couldn't think?' Isn't that the problem? If you could be more explicit, perhaps I could better explain my intention. Otherwise, "we" (the general population) can assume ‘very clean' means we live in La La Land, something on the order of the Garden of Eden. We dare not partake of the forbidden fruit. One of these days, millions of people are going to wake up, and like children put out on their own, find they are living in a world they don't know. Look within and ask yourself, "Am I one of those?"
KES: "Very well put. Just know we have teens on this site and it is up to the group to set a good example. Thanks so much for the understanding. Just looking at the elephant from all of our own viewpoints, hm... some are different and that is ok. My viewpoint is in La La Land LOL!!! Thanks for bringing that out. We still regardless do have a moral code and ethics for this site and as mods reserve the right to have in this group what we feel is also all right for the greatest good of the group."
"We feel!" We don't think. What is unclean or unethical about what I wrote, or something teenagers should not read? Millions, like KES, are living in La La Land, looking to self-serving authorities to lead their way. Because they are afraid and clinging to the past, the world has passed them by, left them in a cloud of dust. And like Pied Pipers, the feeling, non-thinking people, living in La La Land, lead children on a Bridge to Nowhere.
KES put me on the dark side of the moon. I've a question for Gaia's management. If you click on Gaia in the upper left corner, Gaia's mission appears on your screen. What is it in my philosophy, as far as Gaia is concerned, that puts me on the dark side of the moon?

The dark side of the moon is a place of mystery. I was put here to think. There is no mystery that we’re from dust to dust. I think we own an eternal self. This is a do it yourself life. You don’t get your answers from the world’s authorities. You get their answers for what you should be. It never worked for me.
