Should I forget my adversarial position with America's hated IRS? My today's blog concerns the IRS, who now writes me the following: "You are entitled." Not to mention my Social Security entitlement and my disabled veteran's entitlement, I'm government entitled to an economic stimulus payment of $600 as provided by the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008.

Let us spend a few moments thinking about economic stimulus. "Your payment is based on information you submitted on your 2007 federal income tax return, " writes the IRS. The information I submitted on my 07 tax return included that I owed no federal income tax. In fact, it is the first tax return I've filed in years. If you don't have taxable income, you don't need to file a tax return. I'm living on my non-taxable government entitlements.


President Andrew Jackson-Stonewall Jackson-went to the American people for his support. He did away with America's Central Bank. He gave us "Greenbacks" backed by gold. America's economy, based on credit, depends on a central bank. Federal Reserve notes, rather than by gold, are backed by the American people's promise to pay all debts public and private.

How did a central bank come back? Powerful European bankers and their American shill, J.P. Morgan, paid a few members of Congress to slip in the Federal Reserve Bank when most members of Congress were home for Christmas holidays. Birds of a feather flock together. Bankers profit by loaning money. Politicians profit by handing out borrowed money. America's government considers it government's duty to keep the individual. Politicians call it our entitlement.


America's Federal Reserve Bank, more than likely owned by private banking interests in Europe-we, the people, know not who owns the stock-gives us lower interest rates to stimulate the economy. The housing boom was based on low interest rates.  In many areas of the U.S., homes are going back to banks by the thousands. There is no market for homes in those areas.


With the bloom off America's booming economy, and dwindling tax revenues, the government hopes to stimulate the economy by handing out borrowed money. I'm being flooded with adverting to borrow. Many Americans owe more now than they can pay. Yet we've got to borrow more to keep the economy rolling.


Standing shoulder to shoulder before America's congressional representatives, a five company oil monopoly the other day claimed the price of fuel is based on the law of supply and demand. There goes our discretionary spending. We've got to let the law of supply and demand, though various monopolies, such as drug companies and socialized medicine, work its will on us. Rather than supply and demand, it is payola. Might makes right.

Where does this leave the government entitled? We live in a government hothouse. The government borrows money from the central bank, which is probably owned and controlled by European bankers, who own the printing presses that print Federal Reserve Notes. Private bankers-who knows who they are-print the loan money. Government hands it out to stimulate the economy. America's taxpayers pay interest to said private bankers. The interest paid on America's national debt would allow every American family to own a new home.

I'm reminded that a tax court judge asked me why I should not pay federal income tax when everyone else does. My answer to said judge: "My first obligation, rather than to government, is to exist on the fruits of my own labor." Am I right or wrong?


Note: The United States claims it is backed by Brushaber v. Union Pacific R.R. (1916). In reference to the income tax, which became law in 1916, the court: When "under the seeming exercise of the taxing power, the taxing statute is so arbitrary as to compel the conclusion that it was not the exertion of taxation, but the confiscation of property, or is so wanting in basis for classification as to inevitably to produce such a gross and patent inequity as inevitably to lead to the same conclusion," it is not taxation. It is confiscation.


The tax court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court all held against my notion. America's government holds that I have no right to exist on the fruits of my own labor. Paying my income tax comes first.


Based on the knowledge that printing press money depreciates in value, it pays to owe money as long as you can easily pay it back. No problem for the government entitled, who are guaranteed to receive cost of living increases to take care of the devaluation of money. If the government entitled owe and the medium of exchange shrinks in value to half its former worth, the government entitled receive twice as much, the government entitled owe half as much. Not so with working Americans. If they are paid twice as much to take care of the devaluation of the medium of exchange, they owe in taxes more that twice as much. Moreover, a sick economy means working people lose their jobs. They can't pay their mortgage payments They lose their homes.


It's nice to be government entitled. I'm now age 82. When Social Security became law, the average age was 63. Social Security tax was a small fraction of today's cost. I've been government entitled 20 years. When I was a taxpayer working on a minimum paying job, my after tax income would not pay for a roof over my head. I was locked out. In Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Iraq, one could be government entitled if he or she supported Hitler, Stalin, or Saadam. The fate of supporters of dictatorships has been very bad.  I voluteered my services to fight Hitler.  I'm not going to forget that the Nazi IRS, approved of by the courts and Congress, taxed me out of  a minimum existence.


As told by a brain doctor, Evan Harris Walker, "the tests of Bell's theorem have shown that objective reality as it has been conceived is not the true fabric of reality. The observer interacts with matter. . . We have found ways to take the measure of consciousness, to study its contact with the functions of the brain, and to discover how the mind, through the agency of the will, affect matter and transcends the limits of space and time."


In other words, government dependence is fool's gold. As a being of Power, Intelligence and Love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which may make himself what he wills. As a Gaia Community ambassador, it is incumbent upon me to bring this to your attention. The bottom line is that America's representatives don't give you anything. They are worthless. They speak with forked tongues. Depending on others to keep you ultimately comes to a bad end.

Our Karmic Mission

My good friend, Mamakat wrote this comment to my blog: "I always learn from you. And how I wish I had learned more about not being dependent and committing to keep myself independent when I was younger!"


My good friend, Meenakshi: "Inlink, thank you for sharing not only your interesting life on Gaia, but also the fascinating journeys you are now taking with mind."


Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker, in Numerology and The Divine Triangle, gave me a formula to use in finding my life's lesson. My life's lesson, the number 7 in Numerology: "You are here to use and develop your mind. Your words should be full of wisdom when you decide to talk. Your strong insight helps in any line you choose and gives insight when needed . . .You should learn to spend time by yourself, in the woods or by the seashore, where you can get in touch with your inner self and your deepest thoughts because your destiny is to use your mind."


And so it has come to pass that fate brought me to the tall timber near Mt. Hood, where I plan to spend the rest of my life in the quietness of the forest using my mind.  It's like I've written before. We're as drops of water in the ocean, out of which came life, actually, out of which came my born again life about which I've been writing.


While at sea, by God's grace, I saved seven lives, including my own, from a watery grave. John Newton, the author of Amazing Grace, was a sea captain plying the slave trade. John Newton, the self-proclaimed wretch who once was lost but then was found, was saved by the same amazing grace that saved me. I will never forget that I was put here for a special purpose.


There is too much of what the stars say about me that is true to call it coincidence. Would it not be true for everyone if we but knew that we each come with a special mission? It came to me from age old spiritual advisors while I was in the county law library, of all places,  studying the U. S. Constitution. My mission at the time was to learn the higher law of nature and apply it to my life.


Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice: "The United States of America is an extraordinary country. It is a country that has overcome many, many, now years, decades, actually a couple of centuries, of trying to make good on its principles," said Rice, the first female black secretary of state, serving in a Republican administration. "And I think what we are seeing (Oboma's primary election victory) is an extraordinary expression of the fact that 'We the People' is beginning to mean to all of us."


Neither the United States nor her people have ever lived by nature's higher law. The rule makers are not absolved from the law, nor are those followers who do not live by the higher law. They continue to pay, and pay, and pay.

I've learned to look within for my answers. While others pay,  ignoring spiritual values, I receive. It's no coincidence that  everything is in divine order in my life.  From what I know, it is by God's grace that I'm even alive. It is no coincidence that I'm one of the Gaia Community passing on what my inner thoughts tell me. 

Are we not all connected?  My readers are picking up on my thoughts!

In reading my blogs, you are reading about one American who flew over the cuckoo's nest. I challenged America's makers and keepers of the law in court, without the help of a lawyer.

Adding to my last month's Nero Fiddled post, "if Earth could speak through you what would the message be?" Would any of you do what I did-challenge the all-powerful IRS?


The Roman jurist Cicero, said to be the father of modern law, declared, "If it were possible to constitute right simply by the commands of the people, by the decrees of princes, by the adjudications of magistrates, then all that would be necessary for robbery, adultery, or the falsification of wills would be a vote of the multitudes."

Rome's authority seized Cicero's property and exiled him. Authority crucified Jesus. Would you challenge authority?


Cicero asserted: "We are born for justice, and right is not the mere arbitrary construction of opinion but an institution of nature." I'm reminded of America's Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." I'm reminded of the Ninth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In stipulating that "certain rights shall not prejudice other rights not so enumerated." by coincidence, this amendment has never been employed by America's judges, who reason that the Ninth Amendment is covered by other amendments to the Constitution.


It was my calling to study the law. Long before Cicero, in Greek city states, the Sophists concluded that justice was either merely "the interests of the strong" or at best a convention entered upon by men purely on consideration of expediency and terminable on like consideration. So much for Greek democracies.  I no of nothing that makes the will of the people something to seek.  I say the will of the individual should reign supreme in the law.


America's present Supreme Court is of the opinion that the law should be interpreted in light of today's needs, in order to achieve political or other goals the justices deem proper and right. Justice Brandeis: "Property is only a means. It has been a frequent error of our court that they have made the means the end." Did you know that the Supreme Court has separated you from your property?  Is this the law or is it banditry?

The American people have a history in America's justices that reason questions. The Taney Court ruled in favor of the enslavement of black people. That was the need of southern gentlemen at the time. It was the need of the economy-to keep people whose skins were black owned by white people, the way white people owned mules and cows. Justice Black insisted that the law was what he and his colleagues said it was. Germany's judges approved of Jews losing their right to live. What made them different than America's judges?


America's justices have consistently ruled against individual rights and for the vogue, which, at the present, is a "duty" of government to the individual, to grant entitlements; that is, the right of certain classes of people to receive government benefits at taxpayer expense. The U. S. Supreme Court declares that government entitlements can not be taken away without the government convincing the High Court that its action in no way violates Court's "preferred freedoms" concept; that an entitlement cannot be taken away unless the government can show some immanent danger. The government would have to show that taking away an entitlement was confined to the eradication of an immediate evil and was not some scattergun approach. On the other hand, the current Supreme Court holds to the position that government is always right as far as the income tax is concerned, unless the taxpayer can convince the court that the IRS was wrong. Exactly the reverse view.


My case proved that is not wrong, in America's justices' view, to tax a worker out of house and home. Aristotle asserted that "even the best of men in authority are liable to be corrupted by passion and it (the law) is therefore preferable to any individual." We hear said that America is a government of laws not of men. To mention one case in point, in my petition for a Writ of Certiorari to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, I entered West Va. State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) Justice Jackson speaking for the Court. Quoting from my petition (Case Number 1570 in the October term of 1980):


"The very purpose of the Bill of Rights (including the Ninth Amendment) was to withdraw certain subjects ("certain rights shall not prejudice other rights not so enumerated") from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life, liberty, and property (wages included) . . . and other fundamental rights (the right to exist) may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no election."


By the way, Justice Jackson was one of the judges at the Nuremberg trials of Nazi war criminals.  So indeed! How can the courts look the other way on the right to exist on the fruits of one's labor? A similar case to mine was heard in 1945 in the U. S. Court of Appeals. My case, a literal taxing out of existence by mistake, was dismissed. It never happened, not in spite of the evidence that the IRS mistakenly put me on the street. The law is based on reason. Three U.S. District Courts dismissed my complaint against the Commissioner of Internal Revenue without hearing me. The U.S. Court of Appeals held against me. The U. S. Supreme Court dismissed me without a word.  The truth finally came out on a front page Palm Beach Post story, the IRS admitting that for 10 years it had been lawlessly seizing my property.  Expedience did not work, but I never heard a word from anyone! If it happened to me, rest assured that it is happening to countless other low paid taxpayers.

The politicians currently running for public office are the all-time biggest frauds in history.

My friends, it is no coincidence that the nation is going down the tube. Consider that I was barely 18 when I was sent to fight Nazi injustice. Consider that after serving my country in the interest of freedom, the makers and keepers of American law didn't want to hear that they left me homeless in favor of their income tax.


Now that I'm 82 years old, government entitlements are favoring me with my dream home, the best of health care at no cost to me, and enough income to keep me the rest of my time here. Who could ask for anything more? My friends and family say I've earned it. I say I would have been a multi-millionaire had government kept its nose out of my business.


United States has not done right by anyone. The American people are now paying dearly. It goes far beyond America's corrupt government. Without purpose, gargantuan dinosaurs met their fate. More and more, any purpose whatever of our being is apparent. Mankind could at any time become history written in the rocks.

In the opening verses of the Holy Bible, I read, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion . . ." Who is "us?" Why not let it be us?  If we are the change, it is us. There is no one else.

A Message to World Changers.

The above picture is on my computer screen when I turn it on. I took it in the San Juan mountains of southwestern Colorado. A highway of flowers in the picture leads to a small patch of blue sky. I call it my highway to the stars. It is a reminder of my karmic mission.


As never before, we world changers, with independent minds and the freedom to communicate to a large number of people, thankful am I to have the Gaia Community. You people give me the encouragement and inspiration to carry out my mission.


A word of caution. More often than not, world changers, history records, end on a cross or in some other sorry fate. The manipulated majority has put great effort into creating the establishment. Establishment leaders, the trend setters-the intelligentsia-always know what is best for us. Alas, we world changers are bucking the intelligentsia and the manipulated masses.


To be sure, it is easier to go with the flow, but someone said the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. I guess I should know. Caught in World WarII, I was a combat rifleman in Europe. My buddies and I paid a high price for freedom.


If one wanted a socialist America, an America where no one had any rights but rather government entitled-dependence on government-one could not come up with a better plan than America's entitlements. Indeed, America's entitlements are out of control and threatening to bankrupt the nation. When nations go belly up, they go socialistic. I have yet to hear any Democrat or Republican say America's entitlements should be fazed out. I assume the majority of Americans want socialism. In any event, this is what we're getting.


Not only do I have in my memory  of WWII, when I was a boy the family was America's cornerstone. I served my country with that thought in mind. No one was government entitled. Only the very rich paid a tax on their incomes. The Great Depression taught the majority of the American people that regardless of personal responsibility and family a third of the workforce was jobless. There were no jobs. Millions of families were uprooted. The government stepped in. The American people got the idea that we could not get along without government in our lives. Many Americans remain afraid they can't make it on their own.


The American people were blind sided by the intelligentsia, people who think they have the right answers. Socialism is the academic answer, but what is the real answer? The truth of the Great Depression came out in Noble Peace Prize winner, economist Milton Friedman's Freedom to Choose.

The stock market crash of 1929 was the result of manipulation, actually a click of very wealthy people manipulating the stock market to unprecedented highs by buying long and then manipulated it down by selling short. The motive was to make money.


The FED, for reasons not clear, raised the prime rate in the face of the stock market collapse in 1929. If the same had been done by the FED in the year 2000, the result could have been a depression. As it were in 2000, the FED cut the prime rate and we barely went into a recession.

Unfortunately, when the stock market crash occurred in 1929, the FED's chair, Benjamin Strong, had been dead a year. There was a power struggle for Strong's seat. The struggle involved the government's laissez faire policy, an independent economy. Conveniently, a free economy ended with the depression. The idea that we, the people, didn't know how to spend our money took charge. We, the people, bought a government managed economy.

In the face of deepening recession, started by the stock market collapse, the federal government did nothing of any consequence. Roosevelt, one of the Northeast's wealthy, influential, intelligentsia (like Hitler and Stalin, they are always for the little guy and against the filthy rich), won the election for president. Laissez Faire went down the tube. We can take note that the Northeast's intelligentsia comes from a concentration of people living in crowded conditions for generations, the same as in Europe. Likewise, we can take note that the less congested Middle America remained more individually independent, but like a malignant disease, the intelligentsia's brand of socialism and dependence, for the past 70 years, has been spreading throughout the nation.


The minute he took office, to stop a bank run, the granddaddy of it all, Roosevelt, declared a banking holiday. Great for bankers, Roosevelt took America off the gold standard, too. From then on, Federal Reserve Notes were backed by the bearer's promise to pay all debts public and private. Roosevelt made it illegal to own gold coinage. It had to be exchanged for paper money. No one knows what happened to the gold he seized. No one knows what happened to the gold in Fort Knox. It is believed that it has all been removed as security for the private bankers (who knows who) who own the Federal Reserve Bank. What could be better than this for bankers. These bankers, David Rockefeller being one of them, form a click with the right to print Federal Reserve Notes and collect interest for loaning against the American people's credit. Starting from the death of Benjamin Strong, America's government, in cahoots with the FED, has been sapping our energy. It is responsible for our decline. Both said bankers and the government have something to gain at the people's expense. We've been led down a garden path.


Rockefeller for years the chair of the Council of Foreign Relations, which now is setting government policy, who's in control? Rockefeller and his colleagues in Europe allegedly have our gold as security. They've left the American people in deep financial trouble. America, once a proud, independent nation, is on her way to third world dependence.

The Roosevelt Administration did not end the depression. It dragged on until World War II opened the factories and put everyone to work-on borrowed money, mind you. Remember that bankers make money by loaning money. The same bankers who were loaning America money were loaning the Nazis money. George Bush's grandfather, a New York banker, was closed down for acting as an agent for Nazi money. Bush has weekly chat sessions with the FED's chair.


I was fighting for our freedom so bankers could take over the world. And here we are in 2008 borrowed up to our eyeballs, with a manipulated housing market so bankers could make money. As a result, the economy is sagging. Wouldn't you know, Democrats blame Republicans. More socialism, less personal responsibility is the favored political answer for what those mean Republicans have done to us. As always, the hue and cry is help the little guy and tax the greedy rich. I recall that the Communist's theorist, Karl Marx, came up with the same idea.


After World War II, America enjoyed a booming economy. There was no further need for government entitlements but government voted in more and changed the Victory Tax of WWII to the withholding tax in post war America. America's income tax has given America's intelligentsia more power than any power in history. Through the income tax, America is the world's one super-power. If it is true that power corrupts, America's powers that be are the most corrupt of all times.


Weigh present day America with the lessons of history. Compare today's American opportunists to feudal Europe. From Time-Life's The Divine Campaigns, "On an April day in the year 1127, a glittering company assembled on the broad open ground called the Sands, just west of the town of Bruges near the North Sea coast. From manor houses on the surrounding plain, from fortresses towering over the gray estuaries, from the rich abbeys of Saint Bertin and Saint Omer, nobles and churchmen had gathered to do homage to William, the new count of Flanders.


A notary named Galbert of Bruges stood by to record the words and deeds of this solemn ceremony. One after another, in a sequence prescribed by rank and dignity, the men laid aside their swords, uncovered their heads, and knelt before the count, who asked each one the same question: "Do you wish, without reservation, to become my man?"

The count enclosed the hands of the petitioner between his own and sealed the compact with a kiss on the lips. Then he motioned for an attendant to bring forward a jeweled casket holding the relics of the saints-fragments of bone, nail parings, ringlets of hair-sacred objects on which each nobleman swore his oath:


"I promise by my faith that from this time forward I will be faithful to Count William and will maintain toward him by homage entirely against every man, in good faith and without any deception."


Count William was empowered because Charles, the Good had been murdered by his enemies while attending mass. In a matter of months, William, too, would be dead: done in by Flemish rebels.


In those dismal days of feudal Europe, the lord of the land held absolute power. He could flog hapless peasants into obedience, hang them when they committed crimes or disobeyed him and his rules. The lord and master could withhold their right to marry. Those who had strength and fighting skills, and the financial wherewithal to arm themselves, were treated with more respect. They became the warriors and vassals of the lord.


In those dismal days, Jerusalem, the holiest of holy cities in the world, had changed hands three times in short order. The city was massively fortified. Nobody in his right mind would have ever dreamed that 2,000 miles away an ecclesiastic plan, the Christian Crusades, had come to fruition, and would soon bring sudden massacre to the city.


It is important that we world changers know what has gone heretofore. The world's authorities with the public voice are selling us out. Said authorities, for self-serving purposes, have neatly categorized the universe. You only need to know what your teacher, your doctor, your lawyer, your priest, your government official.


Beginning with the myths of antiquity, we have been discovering more and more of the truth about our place in the universe. We see that the world's reality is flawed and self-destructive. Our answers are there but we're blinded by the notion that we are weak and incapable of coping on our own. What do we, the people, know? People have always feared the truth. We are still afraid of facing the truth. We are still seeking a God we can all know and understand.

Science has now found ways to take measurement of our state of awareness. Science has now found ways to discover how the mind, through the will, affects matter, how it transcends the space-time consortium. We don't realize that our state of mind is boundless; don't realize that we set the limit. One observes, for instance, that some have too much-the why of it of no concern-and others too little. That becomes his reality. Then too, our diversion to materialism has shut us off of our necessary spiritual growth in this fast paced world. Consequently, we are an endangered specie, blind to the new reality.


My advice is to look within for your answers. No one can advise you as well as your inner self. Our Gaia voice is one individual on another individual. It is essential that we world changers know the subtle makeup of the universe

The universe is more than the sum of the parts. We are each entities of eternity, each here in physical form with a special mission. While the physical domain exists with immutable laws, those laws leave open our co-equal place in the creation. In the making of things, we each have individual existence, user or the used. The authorities have taught us generation after generation to sell ourselves short. We don't know that we are fundamental to existence. It is necessary to know that without consciousness the universe could not possibly exist. There would not be any reason for the universe. That applies to you and me. If there is no reason for us, we will become history written in the rocks.


Nobel Prize winner Murray Gell-Mann has described quantum mechanics as "that mysterious, confusing discipline which none of us really understands but which we know how to use." Physicist Richard Feynman: "I think I can safely say that no one understands quantum mechanics. . . Do not keep asking yourself, if you can possibly avoid it, ‘but how can it be like that?' . . .Nobody knows how it can be like that."


Do the authorities in the lime light know who we are and what we are about? I don't think so. We have no idea of the power that lies within us. The cutting edge of science is finally bringing us to the reality of who we really are-that mind is the master weaver, both of the inner garment of character and outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and pain they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness. Where do you find art in your life?

Here's my thought on today's Questions and Reflections.   Many people are sidetracked by the more mundane things in life. We each have special skills. If we don't regularly use them, we miss much of the fun of living.

It wasn't until I cut out of the herd and went on my own that I discovered the joy of living. An artist is a person who exhibits special skill in the production or expression of what is beautiful or of more than ordinary significance. My expression is in playing my keyboard and thinking and writing my philosophy and experiences. Since I've been retired 20 years, I've had plenty of time to practice. I've improved and the pleasure is more.

The Beautiful and the Ugly

Speaking of our special skills and expressions of the beautiful, after nine years of the nomad life in our RV, Karen and I feel so lucky to be in our beautiful new home. We've repainted the whole interior in "Divine" paint---all earth colors. We added a mural of a mountain scene to the master bath. We're thrilled at the results.

We are not thrilled over the performance of others. We hired a carpenter contractor to add decks, a carport, and a patio. (A first contractor was fired before he even started. He was trying to welch on his signed contract.) A county inspector turned the second contractor's work down for many reasons. Par for the course, my contractor disappeared. He had taken three months to do a job he promised to compete in three weeks. Instead of finishing the job, he went to Arizona to visit family a week and took another week off to visit Yellowstone National Park. When he worked one day, I didn't see him for a week.

I had to go to the building division to find out what was required to pass the inspection. I wrote the contractor that he could either quit or finish the job, but that he wouldn't be paid the final payment until his work passed inspection, and I approved of it. Three weeks later my contractor had the gall to call to say he would finish the job to pass inspection, but not with my approval because it was my fault that his work was turned down.

He said he had been trying to please me and he felt that now I would be too hard on him. He said to get someone else to finish the job. He was going to a lawyer, warning me that it was going to cost me, so I better pay him.

Incidentally, this contractor informed me Jesus was his personal redeemer. He wanted me to become a Mormon. He is a Mormon missionary. If I find out anyone is a Mormon, I'm going run.

Question and reflection: With the government in control, the irresponsible are just as entitled as anyone. A judicial dictatorship calls it a "preferred freedom." With fuel heading for $5.00 a gallon, food prices going up fast, and health care already astronomical, the politicians want to raise our taxes. You can understand why my contractor would want me to pay him for work he didn't do? He's government entitled.

Eternity

It is particularly meaningful to me that Gaia is about changing the world, and by coincidence I'm here to help in changing our thinking. In my blogs, I'm giving my readers the choice of sticking with current conventions or changing to new age thinking. One of my ideas is to look within for your answers; another, to accept eternity, a timeless state, without beginning or end, perpetual, enduring, immutable.


Compare eternal with mortal, from everlasting to everlasting or a final end. Man looked into the heavens and envisioned Earth at the center of the universe. We discovered that Earth revolves around the sun. Then we found that our galaxy, the Milky Way , was not the only galaxy in the heavens. Now we find that there are billions of galaxies.

Moreover, in the microcosmic, world,  when I was a physics student in high school it was atoms composed of electrons, protons and neutrons. Later, the term quark appeared to describe protons and neutrons. Then kaons were discovered. They called them strange quarks. In 1970, they predicted the existence of a fourth quark, called the charm quark. Thus, a particle containing the charm quark, the second-generation partner of the strange quark. Alas, came the discovery in 1975 of a third-generation lepton, another building block of matter, which led scientists to predict the existence of a third generation of quarks. The "bottom quark" came along in 1977.


Pioneer Enrico Fermi's name lives on in the Enrico Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory at Batavia, Illinois, which houses machinery that stands 3 stories tall and weighs about 5,000 tons. Four-hundred-fifty physicists coordinate their efforts around the Fermilab, which houses an accelerator big enough to build the energy required to see a "top quark." In February 1995, the discovery of the theorized "top quark" was a big day for quantum physicists. The top quark, an essential in the construction of matter, was a giant step forward. We exist in a universe without beginning, without end.


Science has now accepted consciousness as part of the mix.  This is a giant step forward. Consciousness is a state, not a place. Both macrocosmically and microcosmically, there is no end of discovery. Since there is no final end, why would there be a final end of us?


I asked a geneticist from whence the genetic code. He answer: "We don't get into that." Exactly!  When authority runs out of answers, it passes.  We don't question. Were it possible for man to be all flesh, then robots could be built. Man can't create consciousness.  The authorities pass. 

Pythagoras, the father of modern mathematics, reasoned that figures represent the aspects matter, numbers represent the characteristics man. In the face of exponential awareness expansion, is it more farfetched to cling to the faith of our fathers, or to accept the reality the latest science brings us? Indeed, the age old barriers of the secular and the divine are broken.

After studying quantum mechanics, I'm getting a totally different perception of how it all comes together.  I refer you to America's most popular Bible, The Scofield Reference Bible, and to Rev. C.I. Scofield's introduction, wherein he wrote: "The sayng that ‘anything may be proved by the Bible' is both true and false-true if isolated passages are used; utterly false if the whole divine revelation is in view." The whole divine revelation, says Scofield, shows us a progressive order that links the ages and gives mankind "increasing purpose," from the beginning of the life of man to the end in eternity. "Augustine said: ‘Distinguish the ages and the Scriptures harmonize.'"


The whole divine revelation is borne out in the latest scientific discoveries. We exist in a state of infinite possibility; we observe and that is our reality. Where does that leave establishment authorities, each with their own domains?  It leaves them up a creek and the individual in the driver's seat.

Nietzsche asked: Did God make a mistake in man or did man make a mistake in God. Ignore your own inner thoughts and be left at the switch. The Bible tells us this: "Let us make man in our image." Religion is totally out of sync with this fast paced world.


Having said this, in 1975, shortly after I departed my old life, at age 49, I met an astrologer by chance. He created my astrological chart. From then on, the events of my life followed my astrologer's predictions. There have been too many coincidences to call them coincidence.

For instance, after years of neither giving nor receiving love, two weeks after wife number three walked out of my life for good, wife number four appeared. At the time, another wife was the last thing I wanted.

I must tell you that wife number three appeared on April 4, 1976. My above mentioned astrologer warned me in August of 1975 to beware of a woman I'd meet on or around April 4, 1976. He said she would be out to get in my cash box. My fourth wife, Karen, twelve years after our marriage, brought me a printout of our astrological compatibility. In the report on me, I read: "The platonic thing was there from the start, and there is a sense of the brotherly and sisterly between you." On our first date, on May 18, 1980, Karen and I were sitting on a log chatting. Karen blurted out, "I'd like for our's to be a platonic relationship." At that very moment, we became aware of the volcanic eruption of Mount Saint Helens not 50 miles from our location to the northwest. Thankfully, the blast went to the north.

Throughout the history of mankind has gone the idea of resurrection---the destruction of the old, the building of the new. At the moment of my new, more rewarding life, I was witness to the destruction of the old. It was an omen of things to come, such as the destruction of the World Trade Center.  We are obliged to rethink our judicial dictatorship.   I refer to my case against Uncle Sam's income tax. The judiciary allows an all-powerful government on the backs of America's working poor and gives aid to the rich and powerful.


By coincidence, in February 2007 I joined Zaadz. I've received many favorable comments. The other day Meenakshi commented on "Our Karmic Mission." Her thought: "Thank you for sharing, not only your interesting life on Gaia, but also the fascinating journeys you are now taking with the mind."


In Numerology and the Divine Triangle, I was given a formula of how to determine my "life lesson" number. My number is "7" Under the number 7, I read: "You are here to use and develop your mind. Your words should be full of wisdom when you talk."


My "path of destiny" number is "7". I read: "Your depth of character and seriousness destine you to be a teacher of ethics. You psychically separate the true from the false and can discover and reveal some of the mysteries of life to a waiting world."


For instance, in my astrologer's chart on me, I noted that Saturn was trine Pluto. In The Astrologer's Handbook, under "Saturn trine Pluto," I read: "This trine gives the natives the ability to understand the laws by which subtle forces are organized, enabling them to use these laws consciously or unconsciously. . . They are able to work slowly and make fundamental and irrevocable changes in their own and other's lives. Often there is a sense of destiny or a peculiar karmic mission which they must fulfill."

"In the chart of an average person this aspect will not be strongly marked unless Saturn or Pluto is angular and unless other planets tie into the configuration in a significant way," which I found to be the case in my chart. The world's best known psychics, according to my astrologer, have similar configurations to mine.


The flesh is weak but my soul restored, now in my twilight years, I count my blessings. My calling came during the time I spent in the county law library. I was seriously preparing to fight Uncle Sam's income tax. I had the distinct feeling that my spiritual guides were leading me. My thoughts today turn to the Bible's Psalm 23. The indication that the thought isn't mine is that I opened my Bible to the Book of Psalms. What are the odds that that this layman, who never studied law, would locate the right lawbook in a law library and turn to the right page? Many times I open my reference book to the exact page.

Our message today: "Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." This water-bearer's message is clear. We must not let the future take care of itself. Listen less to the authorities and think more about your's and your children's future.

Concerning Your Future

So true, if we but knew it, age old barriers of the secular and the divine are broken, and in time will bring unprecedented change to everyone. Yesterday, I wrote about generations of quarks. Speedlinking reports, "Latest Supercomputer Calculations Support the Six-Quark Theory -- ‘A new calculation, reported in the January 25, 2008 issue of Physical Review Letters, confirms the six-quark theory of particle-anti-particle asymmetry. This is the first complete calculation of this phenomenon to employ a highly accurate description of the quarks that adds a fifth dimension beyond those of space and time.'"


The establishment is deaf, dumb, and blind to the future. Any real change is forbidden. The establishment simply pulls a lever here instead of there. Nothing changes. I challenged the establishment and ran into a brick wall.


I departed to the sea on a sloop I named Bold Venture. It was the sea, the forces of nature, and me. While at sea, I was able to mentally communicate with three scuba divers drifting helplessly on an ocean current miles from their dive boat. In a violent storm at sea, I was able to bring my boat and crew to safety in record time. My crew called it a miracle. The power that lies within us is unbelievable. While at sea, I became the individual I was meant to be. Whereas my life had been a failure, a rewarding life followed.

On my first date with Karen, my wife of 26 years, May 18, 1980, the top 1,000 feet of Mount Saint Helens disappeared in a gigantic blast. In a snap of the fingers, what was once a place of pristine beauty turned into a hellish wasteland. Volcanic eruptions grew Mount Mazama to around 10,000 feet in a half million years. Glaciers grooved the sides of the mountain during the last ice age, leaving U-shaped valleys on Mazama's slopes. Glaciation had all but ended when a cataclysmic eruption took place around 4,860 B.C. The blast was 40 times as great as that of Mount Saint Helens. Glowing avalanches of pyroclastic material filled the glacial valleys to the brim. It is estimated that 18 cubic miles of material blew out of the top of Mazama.


The enormous void below the peak caused the top to collapse. With 3,500 feet of the original mountain in a gigantic cauldron six miles in diameter, an amazing thing happened. Precipitation formed Crater Lake, America's crown jewel, stunningly blue with a depth of 1,500 feet.


Natural forces cut V-shaped canyons through the soft pumice that filled glaciated valleys. Mazama Campground lies below the rim of the cauldron at the 6,000 foot level. Karen and I pitched our tent in an inviting grove of large hemlocks. A few feet from our tent a trail took us to the canyon floor and Anne Creek. The creek, named for Annie Gaines of nearby Ft. Klammath who descended the thousand feet from the rim to the lake on October 9, 1865, was the first white woman to feel the tingle of the lake's icy water. In a 1-1/2 hour walk along this beautiful creek, looking up, we saw the 250 feet of pumice and the V-shaped valley the creek formed, reminding me of nature's healing ways.


Thunder resonated through the mountains. A shower sent us to bed early. I awakened before dawn thinking how vibrant my life had become, how in harmony with nature. The resiliency of the moment struck me. This moment in perpetuity, merely a passing scene-what we are, and are making, as much as the gods, as much as the stars, permanent, we fade away to become new life in the coming seasons.

Infinite organizing power, or the higher law of nature, is the controlling factor of the internally organized individual. Entropy is disorder or disorganization. And now we witness minds growing inflexible and ill-prepared to deal with a fast changing world, people clinging desperately to a worn out ideas on the verge of being discarded. We are witness to the masses, to growing millions depending on others, becoming fair game to political opportunists claiming to be all things to all people.

The Truth Seeker

Mamakat says, "Keep the good stuff coming." She is so encouraging! And others, too. I've not lived 82 years for nothing.


Life has many levels of consciousness. We humans are on the broadest level. We're conscious of the vastness of the universe. We've actually seen the future on occasion. We've mentally communicated at a distance. I don't need proof. I've experienced it.

I mentally communicated with three scuba divers some distance from me. They were drifting on an ocean current miles from their dive boat. I sailed straight to them. My ability to telepathically communicate saved their lives. In a storm at sea, I should have been many miles off course. Inexplicably, I was at my destination at my estimated time of arrival. Seas were breaking completely across the inlet. A huge wave that never broke carried my crew and me to safety. Not many can say they saved even one life. I saved seven lives, including my own, during my time at sea.


Two weeks after my third failed marriage ended, I met my soul mate for life. We spent a six month honeymoon at sea. We spent nine years of nomad life in our RV. Our lives together have been an exciting adventure.


One day Karen said, "You know, Joe, I hate to think about living in this RV the rest of my life." My answer: "Don't think about it." One week later we received notice from the Veteran's Administration that I'd been declared permanently unemployable from a World War II injury. I've lost 70 percent of my hearing. We received a large cash payment and enough monthly income to buy our beautiful new home. We're still pinching ourselves. How can this be?


My friends, don't make yourselves victims of circumstances. Would you like to know what took place in my life to change it for the better?


The fact that I went to sea on a 37 foot sloop with no prior experience in off-shore cruising is questionable. It is questionable that I took on the all-powerful IRS. Ever since I started looking within for answers, and acting when I found them, I've been living a charmed life.

But who in his right mind would challenge the all-powerful IRS? When I told wife number two it was my calling, she wanted me to see a psychiatrist.


At an early age, I determined that my Creator blessed me with reason. I sought the truth, but when I found it I did not have the courage to act. I was taught by the establishment to put myself down. I could kick myself! We were not created with hive mentality. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.


I was in my forties when my life started coming apart. I knew it was time to make a drastic change. I knew the IRS was a bald-faced liar. I'd had all I could take. I decided to act. I went to the county law library. Somehow, I found the right messages in rooms full of law books. It seemed that my spiritual guides were leading me.


I stopped on the road in front of my spread for a last look at the cattle grazing, the barn I built, the large home I built. It was a tough call to drive away from everything my 49 years had built. Everyone who knew me thought I'd lost my mind. At first, it was very hard. For a time, I thought I was going to end on the street.


In the end, the IRS had to admit on the front page of The Palm Beach Post that it was a bald-faced liar. In the end, I conquered the forces of nature at sea. In the end, I found the most valuable thing in my life: love and marriage.


So now I ask you: What would my life have been had I not found the courage to act when I discovered the truth? We possess powers most do not dream.

Father's Day Musing

Hey Meenakshi, how about this picture of me! My wife, Karen, left me at the barber shop while she did some errands. She had told me she was going to get her hair died. I had my barber color my hair red. The devil made me do it. (It would wash out.) When she returned this is what Karen saw.


My good Zaadz friend, C4Chaos, on this Father's Day would like all fathers to know, "You're more of a role model to us than movie stars, athletes, artists, nobel laureates, business moguls, or rock stars. But when all things are said and done we're the ones who will shape our own destinies. So it's enough that you were there being an instrument in giving us the opportunity to witness what love, sadness, happiness, and life are all about.


With C4Chaos' thought to go on, this father has some advice to America's young. There's something new about home ownership and the recent housing boom I'd like to bring to your attention. Much of the housing boom was driven by loans made to a new category of borrower-those with little savings, little drive, modest incomes, and poor credit. This  new class of citizen brings us  a multitude of snake-oil salesman, this time in the form of opportunist mortgage brokers in cahoots with opportunist stock market manipulators, opportunist bankers, and opportunist elected officials, all worshiping the golden calf. The fly in their magic ointment is "subprime" mortgages made to order for that class of people who heretofore could not own a pot or a window.  Wasn't that nice of them? Almost anyone could own a home. I read about a guy in jail, without a dime to his name, who got a loan on a new home the day he got out of jail.  Everyone should own a home, right?  It gives us a sense of responsibility. Good luck!


Subprime mortages caused the recent housing boom and triple the cost of a home. That left Karen and I out. We sold our home and put the money inato an RV.  No way could we afford a home again; that is, until the Veteran's Administration declared me permantantly unemployable and gave us the money to buy a home.  We've a chicken in every pot in America.  We're a nation of Enron Corporations. 

Hooray for the Bush Administration! They pushed subprime mortgages to the hilt by ordering government chartered Fannie May and Freddie Mac to buy pools of subprime loans.

It's the oldest story ever told. We, the people, without a thought we could call our own, have allowed authorities to call the tune. Always, always, when the music stops, we're left standing. 


What did I tell you? We just received our economic stimulus check from dear old Uncle Sam. It's borrowed money, folks. I'm receiving tons of advertising encouraging me to borrow.  We didn't have a stick of furniture for our new home. Karen and I bought over $9,000 in furniture and appliances for our new home on borrowed money. We pay no interest on it for up to 5 years.

With the subprime mortgage game gone awry, now we gotta find another way to run the country bankrupt. The idea of credit is that you stimulate economic growth. Fire is good, too, if kept under control. After the stock market crash of 2000, Alan Greenspan, the FED chair, slashed interest rates to the bone to spur lending and spending. The Bush Administration, with exponential growth of government entitlement spending, cut tax rates to stimulate economic growth.  America, the land of opportunists, is going bankrupt. Who do you suppose is going to be the ultimate receiver? Look no further than Castro's Cuba. Look no further than Washington, D.C., folks, the future owner of you, your labor, the future owner of all tangible property in the United States.

Your future is going to be spent in a quest for liberty. When all things are said and done, says C4Chaos, the young are the ones who will shape their own destinies.  You've been given a bum steer. If you know what's good for you, start now to look within for your answers.

Let Us Make Man

Genesis 1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image. The mathematical formula is 1+2+6=9, the number 9 representing selflessness and compassion, the desire to apply its energy to universal service. It bestows an impersonal but just view of life. There are certain principles of right and justice which are entitled to prevail. The father of modern law, Cicero: "We are born for justice, and right is not the mere arbitrary construction of opinion, but an institution of nature."


Genesis 1:26 and 27 speak of beasts of the earth being of their kind and man in his own image. The number 9 represents endings. There can be only one in the likeness of man. Beasts of their kind, man's authority, beastly, to a waiting world, say I: Let us make man in our image.


My search for the truth began after a repeating dream. I was on the back of a giant bird flying through a narrow, winding canyon terrified. I couldn't see around the bends. This part of me had to be overcome. A change in my life was essential. I was in what is known as the mid-life crises, when the planet Uranus opposed itself. One chirpy spring morning, naturally following nature's Higher Law, actually Good Friday, 1975, I departed my old life and never looked back.


At sea, I went through a transformation to the self I was meant to be. This mythical transformation included finding the right mate. It happened on May 18, 1980 not 50 miles from the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, if you will, at the end of the old, at the beginning of the new.

Symbolically, when everything could have turned out badly for me, everything ultimately went right. Yet there were times when if anything could go wrong it did. How does one know? The prepared mind reduces the chance of failure. Speaking in terms of quantum physics, the making of man comes out of a universe of infinite possibilities. We are created to observe, and what we observe becomes our reality.


My old life went wrong by listening to authority and ignoring my own good sense.  A self-fulfililng prophecy, a new behavior which makes the original false conceptions of authority come true has perpetuated the errors of our lives since the beginning of history. I cut out of the herd, to live a life strictly on my own. Miracles took place for I was the making of man.

We are now at the threshold of a quantum leap into tomorrow's world, when authority's present misunderstanding of the Higher Law will be corrected.  Can we get along? I can tell you that our understanding of how it all comes together will be followed by the catharsis of  current emotional tensions, from the current house divided.  With properly prepared minds, our knowing of the power that lies within, coercive government will be a thing of the past. Society will be reorganized for purposes of cooperative and voluntary association of individuals and groups.


In our American Declaration of Independence, we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  Therefore, as an ambassador, we of the Gaia Community, here to change the world, our key words, love, compassion, patience, universality, tolerance, and selfless service, symbolic of this water-bearer of the Age of Aquarius, we've come from the world at the center of the universe to a universe made up of uncounted galaxies, from the macrocosmic to the microcosmic, and through quantum physics, the key that can put it all into logical perspective, to our quantum minds.  Not in authority's wrongly intentioned words, but In God's words, let us make man in our image.

The Self

In response to "Let Us Make Man," Resurrect 1 asked: "Why were you terrified? Why did you not trust this Giant Bird?"


Why, I ask, are we taught to fear God? Oh yea of little faith, look at the universe-out of nothing. Look at the self-out of nothing. It is within our power to create out of nothing.


As we age, aware that our productive years are running out, why do we not realize that the longer we live the greater our potential? Our lives can be never-ending journeys of discovery. Happy am I that, with the help of my Gaia friends, I've been inspired to continue searching my mind for answers and spreading the word.


Our physical stamina diminishes with age, but our minds never run out of time, for they are eternal. In 1935, the politicians invented Social Security, setting a fixed age of 65 for dependence on government. (At the time, the average age was in the low 60s.) With the average age now in the 80s, and the fixed age for dependence on government now set at 62, we are expected to remain dependent on the taxpayers for over 20 years. Is there any real reason for leaving the aging dependent?


We grow old because we are conditioned. Actually, Social Security is social insecurity. Why should healthy people ever retire? When I was age 49, I took a 2 year sabbatical. I went to sea and reinvented myself. My life greatly improved. Instead of looking forward to the day we retire, why not work toward finding a stress free, creative job we enjoy?


Why don't we? We are programmed by God's vicars, by medicine men, by the makers and keepers of the law. Power brings about opposing power. Power is a drive; it is animal-without logic or reason. Power is divisive. A house divided will not long stand. Who are those we place in control of our lives? Actually they are meant to be functionaries whose real purpose is to serve by helping the individual become his destined self? But, no, they are political activists drunk with their power. And what have they done with their misbegotten power? America's income tax has empowered the greatest frauds in history, has created the greatest super-power in the history of the world, and one war after another.


As the whole ocean can be reduced to drops; as it is in Heaven, we are here as drops to serve, each with a special purpose. Thus, who among us is government entitled? The American people have sold their souls to the devil. We are here to serve all by considering ourselves individuals with God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Who are we individuals but drops in the ocean? We can't be anything else. Thy will be done. Take full responsibility for your life.


What more are we but the archetype of the first man? We are human!  My fear was long ago overcome. Deny the idea of a supreme being to fear. This fear is ingrown, taught by power-seeking shamans. We individuals, each with a special purpose, are all parts of the same.

Just by Coincidence

By coincidence, in my Gaia search, I entered "world changers." Dave's response to Q&R, "What is the biggest project you've taken on?," just happens to be both Dave's and mine. Namely, Dave speaks about his mid-life crises, where my story begins. It's believable if you begin at the beginning and digest it to the end. 


I entered "world changers" in Google's search and found "Be a World Changer."
www.worldchangersresources.com   I was referred to the movie Amazing Grace. "What began as a movie became a movement."


A movie of my life would make people think more about what they can do to change, not only their own world, but the world at large. And what better place to start than here and now?

We of the Gaia Community have everything we need for our thousand mile journey. The author of the hymn, Amazing Grace, John Newton, by coincidence, a ship's captain plying the slave trade, in a storm at sea felt he and his ship were saved by God's grace. After my mid-life crises, I went to sea on a sloop I named Bold Venture, and by God's grace was saved. 

Here's my story of Amazing Grace.  My life at sea for two years took place in the mysterious Bermuda Triangle. One night, with a crew of three, we were caught in a violent storm on our way from Nassau to Palm Beach, Florida.  When it hit us, Bold Venture went almost flat on the water. I brought her into the wind, and almost too far, the sail close to backing, in which case it would have flown across decks with such force we'd have  likely been demasted.


Fortunately, Bold Venture fell off . The wind caught the sail and put our rail under the water. I brought the boat a bit closer to the wind, just enough for much of the force of the wind to spill out of the sail, leaving the boat shuttering from stem to stern. We were moving fast, which gave me good control. It was like walking a tightrope. I was steering by the slope of the deck.

Like in music, I sensed a rhythm in the wind and sea. I was like an orchestra conductor, anticipating which way to turn the wheel. My tension went away. I felt in control, sort of removed from it all. 


My course had been southwesterly before the storm.  I was pointed 20 degrees south of a true course to allow for the north moving Gulf Stream. For eight hours, I battled the sea. We'd been sailing to the north on the north moving Gulf Stream. We should have been miles to the north of our destination.

As we rolled over a 30 foot sea, I spotted smokestacks in the west, which turned out to be those of Florida Power and Light a mile south of our inlet. It was impossible, but we arrived at our destination at my estimated time of arrival. Seas were breaking completely across Lake Worth Inlet. Something told me to go for it. With seas breaking on both sides of us, the sea behind crested. We slid down it into the inlet. It never broke. My crew hugged me, claiming it was a miracle we were alive.

While at sea, I mentally picked up on three scuba divers caught in an ocean current, and miles from their dive boat. I sailed straight to them. You read about ships and aircraft being lost in the Bermuda Triangle. You don't read about my experiences. Only such experiences as mine give we sailors amazing grace---how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.


In 1977, with my life graced, I left the sea---with my destiny, with the eruption of Mt. St. Helens on May 18, 1980.  How could it be? I was hiking nearby, on my first date with my fourth wife.  At the time, another wife was the last thing I wanted.  I'd left my second wife in 1975.  I'd married my third wife during my time at sea. She was my first mate. Two weeks after wife number three walked out,  wife number four appeared.  My astrological configuration says a life partner would be the most important thing in my life. 

It was meant to be.  At any rate, my life graced, Karen is the best thing that ever could have happened to me.  It has not always been smooth sailing, nonetheless, our lives together, an exciting adventure, we're at last now safely landed in the tall timber near Mt. Hood counting our blessings.

During the last seven years, I've assigned myself to the task of making sense out of my strange life since my mid-life crises.  James Redfield, in an audio tape, told me this: 


"As you get in touch with your inner energy and start to get in touch with your higher self, you will be guided into how to find that true work expression. It will be shown to you intuitively. This becomes the way you uplift everyone who comes into your life. When you evolve into your higher self you energize those who cross your path. This becomes your greatest talent."

Author's Notes: According to the authors of Numerology and The Divine Triangle, Faith Javane and Dusty Bunker, I started over in September 2006, at age 81, the end of my 9th cycle of 9 years. Every 9 years a new cycle means change. In September 1943, at the end of my 2nd cycle of 9 years, I was 18. On October 12, 1943, I was inducted into the armed services. In September 1970, at age 43, with transiting Uranus opposing itself in my astrological chart, a drastic change in my life could be coming. Since Uranus's orbit around the sun takes 81 years, this influence lasts for years. In 1975, I made a drastic change in my life.


Bearing this change out, in a numerology report from Widening Horizons, Inc., "Sometime in the middle of your life, probably between the ages of thirty-five and fifty, you're apt to begin thinking about how free you would like to feel. You probably haven't been too concerned with freedom-or lack of freedom-before, but current circumstances may bring it to your attention. There may be a significant change in one of the major stabilizing factors in your life-the end or a marriage or business." Both my business career and marriage ended when I was 49.


In November, 2007, my wife Karen said, "I hate to think about living in our RV the rest of my life." A week later, we were notified by the Veteran's Administration that I'd been declared permanently unemployable due to a World War II related injury. The notice meant we could afford to buy a home. In March 2008, we moved into our new home in the tall timber a few miles from Mt. Hood. This marked the end of our 9 years of nomadic life in our RV.

An Aquarian Alert

So they say, the pidgins are coming home to roost. This alert comes from Richard Tarnas, the author of Cosmos and Psyche. There is nothing more outer than cosmos, nor more inner than psyche, says Tarnas. "Perhaps most important, it promises to contribute to the emergence of a new, genuinely integral world view, one that, while sustaining the irreplaceable insights and achievements of the modern and post modern, can reunite the human and the cosmos." Say I: "It will happen just as Tarnas says."


Says Tarnas, a distinguished cultural historian, from November 2008, and for the next two years, the world will go through a great disruptive period. What do authorities do when granted the power to control us? They seek more power through conquest. The history of the world is spelled out in conquest. The masses think what glib-tongued authorities want them to think.

We Americans are going to elect the most powerful man in the world for our president in November 2008, and the greatest disruption of all times will occur. According to Tarnas, it has been happening when Pluto and Saturn are unfavorably aspected since Attila the Hun. I will not vote. It does not make any difference who is elected. I will advise. It's a bad omen for America's next president, an eye-opener for the voters. What would it have been were you and I in control of our lives and the President of the United States merely a functionary? I can only speak for myself. My life is in divine order.


Philosophers and religious authorities have offered a bewildering variety of answers. There is no excuse for it. Indeed, as we could have expected, science as made vain and futile attempts to create consciousness. No one has yet to create a machine with consciousness. So at long last the cutting edge of science is getting into the problem. Start looking within for your answers or be left at the switch. Nothing the world's current authorities are telling you is right. Like a school of helpless fish, you are those predators' fair game.


Necessity is the mother of invention. Mind is emerging as the dominant feature of scientific discovery. Mind, fundamental to existence, has greater control of nature than all of the other forces put together. Mind is above the building blocks of the universe. Mind is the actuality of it all, the immaterial essence, the actuating cause of life. And what have you been told? You cannot trust the world's authority to do for you what you come equipped to do for yourself. I look around me and count my blessings. I could not ask for more, but I can only speak for myself. When I look back, before I looked within for my answers, there was no comparison with what I have now. I had a calling to the Higher Law, background of America's Constitution. From that time on, my life improved. Coincidentally, America was born under the sign of Aquarius. I was born Aquarius rising. We are entering the Age of Aquarius.


What are we here for? What happens when we die? What is life but conscious awareness? Consciousness is infinite, eternal, never ending. It is the whole above the sum of the parts. Since your consciousness is without limit, why would the cosmos not be inextricably interwoven in mind? And why would those with a grant of power to adjudicate or otherwise settle issues not want to control your life, to dictate what is to be and not to be?

The weak willed depend on the authorities. And look what they have-nothing they can call their own. How could the majority, the weak of will, know what is best for you and I? When the majority controls, what about those left out? The authorities work on the problem, ever after taking control of our lives, dividing both sides against the middle, building their house on sand.


It is all too obvious what happened in America. The American people's Constitution, whose purpose was to establish a balance of power, is now a historical document in a glass case on display in Washington, D.C., while the poor in spirit have either become parasites or deprived of a decent existence. Your Constitution, my Constitution is now interpreted by the authorities in control, with the power to force you to do their wills. What is morally just is whatever is needed, according to the authorities.


Who knows your needs better than you? Naturally, the time is ripe for a great disruption among the masses. For those who believe in themselves, everything remains in divine order.

The coming great disruption will be followed by new age reawakening. Individuals, through spiritual growth, will gain control of their lives, authorities becoming mere functionaries. Everything you know now will be replaced, allowing you to do the unimaginable.


I appeared at the dawn of the new age. Heisenberg published his uncertainty principle in the month and year of my birth, which led to the atom bomb. In my second 9 year cycle, I was a combat infantryman in Germany, and on the high seas heading for the invasion of Japan when the atom bomb ended World War II..


This is a time of beginnings and endings, the end of the Age of Pisces, the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. The cycles of my life have been in step with the cosmos. I'm now at the end of my ninth cycle of nine years, at the beginning of a new first cycle. As your Aquarian messenger, with the course of history going through a change that will last forever, I can only speak for myself, but written in the stars, belief in myself leaves me to say life has never been better.

What Is Is

In President Bill Clinton's words, "because is is," although he probably didn't know what he was talking about, he was speaking of conscious awareness. Is is, because without conscious awareness nothing exists. As a matter of fact, there were circumstances Clinton would just as soon had not existed outside the Oval Office. Why did we need to know? Why? In the establishment, nothing exists that is not admitted. In my considered opinion, there is far too much of which we, the people, are not aware.


The greatest mystery about us, our minds-our immaterial essence-mind is elemental to our being, the more I think, the more I get the feeling that my mind is way ahead of my conscious awareness. And, others reveal that they are on my wave length. Emerging man, man evermore in control of matter, man unique on this planet, if not for some purpose, what?

Man has become aware of the vastness of the universe and at the same time aware of its smallness. In Bell's theorem, proven in lab experiments-though observation-science has learned of interconnections in matter that are not subject to space and time. No matter the separating distance, the connections are instantaneous in the subatomic world, and so it seems with us. So is the cosmos, so are we, so is the atom; there is more in our minds than all we can see.


The peculiar thing about light waves is that, unlike sound waves and water waves, they require no medium to "travel." They travel at the ultimate speed. Nothing physical can travel at the speed of light. At the speed of light, time stands still. The observer, if you will, turns light waves into subatomic particles called photons, tiny packets of energy the brain decodes. We see "things" but what is is?


The will of the intelligentsia, that we see only what it wills-in consideration of that which is is-what if we, the people, were conscious of the above mentioned scientifically proven facts? What if we were aware that out of infinite possibilities (the state of things or the aspects of matter-subatomic particles-the result of having been observed-we get manifestations. In other words, is is or is not, whatever we, the people, think, our reality,

as James Allen in As a Man Thinketh declares: we individuals hold the key "to every situation, and contain within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which may make himself what he will," could that not be? It is one's individual will opposed to the will of the intelligentsia.


How many of you believe the scientifically proven truth that I AM THAT I AM? I can only speak for myself. I observed the miserable state of my establishment being. There was no place for me in my business. I was a repeat of the mom and pop neighborhood grocery store. Government and big business put me out of business. There was no place for me in my family, nor in my community. I refused to be a cog in the establishment's wheel.

I went to an employment counselor. His conclusion was that I was best suited for being the president of the company. There was nothing left for me but to start over. Rather than turn myself over to a corrupt establishment, and take whatever came, it was scary at first, but I decided to be my choice, captain of my ship. I bought a sailing sloop and went to sea.
But, like a child in ocean's arms,

We strive against the stream

Each moment farther from the shore,

Where life's young fountains gleam;

Each moment fainter wave the fields,

And wider rolls the sea,

The mist grows dark-the sun goes down-

Day breaks-and where are we?

Are we striving against the stream? Actually, where are we in this free falling establishment? America's intelligentsia fruitlessly spends lives. Most of the world hates America. So much for America's intelligentsia and system of injustices.


The day approaches when the individual will take charge of his life, or get left in a cloud of dust. Not only did I survive all the forces nature threw at me during my two years at sea, but, including my own, I saved seven lives. It is easier for me to believe in myself than be a cog in the wheel. And what better testimony? Because is is, notwithstanding Bill Clinton's sexual problem-what a way to lead-I can only speak for myself, but after I looked within for answers, now at age 82 I can say that life doesn't get any better than this.

Two Things by the Same Name

I see by my last title, "What Is Is," that my readers are not particularly curious about my tricky wording. Surprise! Someone at Gaia has thought a lot about what is is. My Gaia search found 1,369 quotes for what is is. A quote of Abraham Lincoln caught my attention.


Lincoln's address at Sanitary Fair, Baltimore, Maryland, April 18, 1864: "We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word many mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men's labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name - liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names - liberty and tyranny."


Lincoln believed it offended the word liberty to practice slavery. In today's America, it offends me that we practice tax slavery. In other words, that some may do as they please, and with the product of their labor, to other men the word means for some men to do as they please with other men, the product of their labor. The latter are America's intelligentsia-politicians, judges, International Corporation CEOs, all who have received from the people a grant of power.


Lincoln's answer-and my answer-is a government of the people, by the people, for the people. We, the people of the United States, "in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

But power, like the sex drive, doesn't require brains. We note that in order that some may do as they please, and with the product of their labor, the rest of society must do as the intelligentsia directs. Is is whatever we, the people, want, and a far cry from what we wanted when we Americans ordained and established our Constitution.


I must say at this point in my life that what is is good for me; that is liberty and tyranny by two different and incompatible names. The American people have given me a good life, and I'm grateful, but there is no question about it, we're going bankrupt; that is, we, the people, not the intelligentsia. When we go bankrupt, the intelligentsia will have all the power.


It's the same answer history has always given we, the people. In pioneer America, it was, we the people, independent and working together to build a more perfect union. With our mission accomplished, we, the people, started taking things for granted. The power drive in us created the present establishment. Are we going to succumb to the power drive? Are we going to evolve?


Remember that power is a drive. The more one has, the more one wants. Compare pioneer America with today's America. Relatively few have awesome power, and that power is far reaching. Other sources of great power have different interests. Brainless power, along with brainwashed masses, could end all life on the planet.


I've been studying a totally new reality. My mind has moved onto a different plain. We've got new software to put in our computer-like brains, but people are not ready for it. To go with the greater independence the new software provides, it means far greater personal responsibility, the diametric opposite of what the intelligentsia wants, what we, the people, have been brainwashed to accept.


Quantum physicist Nick Herbert, author of Elemental Mind, starts out with this Wordsworth quote:


And never for each other shall we feel,

As we may feel, till we have sympathy.

With nature in her forms inanimate,

With objects such as have no power to hold

Articulate language.

In all forms of things there is a mind.


Herbert: "In the unobserved world of pure possibility, incompatible attributes can exist without contradiction, but there is room in the world of actuality for only one partner. Which partner appears is not specified in the quantum description but is decided by the type of measurement the mouse (or other competent observer) decides to make."


I should hope that people observe more than mice. However, unfortunately, although people agree that this is a particularly dangerous time, they let the powers that be do their thinking. Generally speaking, dependence on government leaves people with no moral compass. I think my blogs here at Gaia are being read by more people than the general public would read. Gaia has a name. To my friends here at Gaia, say I, the world waits for our message.

Reality Check

Starting with the price of fuel, America's elected don't yet have a logical answer. With America's debt out of control, the elected don't yet have a solution. Unfortunately, the American people have not demanded answers to the problem. They allow politicians to remain addressing the symptoms, leaving us with a worsening addiction with easy to see results-more medicine to kill the pain of it all, more of a government that is all things to all people.

America's wish list does not have one thing to do with equal opportunity. Equal rights, we call it.


Just wish for a home. You got it. A home can be had whether or not one can afford it. With a free enterprise system, the American people wish for guaranteed health care for everyone. With the cost now out of sight, you foolish people, your wish is government's command. The belief that government can be all things to all people results in all people, with the exception of the policy makers, having little, if anything at all. The undeniable fact is that the rich are getting richer, the poor poorer. The American people are being royally fleeced.


I'm looking at a Federal Reserve Note. It says, "This note is legal tender . . ." It says this piece of paper I'm holding is accepted as a note for all debts public and private. What's the bottom line? What happens if and when we, the people, spend ourselves in to bankruptcy? All it took was a government act to create the Federal Reserve Bank (privately owned), and to authorize it to print Federal Reserve Notes. All it would take is a government act to authorize some other medium of exchange when the need arises. Government is here, we see, to fill the American people's wish list. There you have it-a government scheme of all things to all people.

Individual responsibility didn't work. Whose fault is that, the government? I know better. When I was a boy in the South, black folks were deliberately and forcefully kept down by whites. The law in practice did not allow people of color equal opportunity. It didn't until the black population demanded better than southern whites were willing to give.


The American people have never known that the Constitution they ordained did not allow unlimited government or unequal treatment. The current presidential election comes at a time when the American people are as divided as they were when the North and South went to war. The government's medicine is not relieving America's pain. It's making slaves of the people, either as taxpayers or addicts. Whose fault is it?


The Bible says a house divided will fall. I see within America's heart a hard core of belief in a system of government wherein political power is diffused by a written constitution, under which the whole of power-judges, politicians, bankers, and what have you, are held in check by the rule of law. But say I, it will never happen unless and until the American people, black, white, yellow, or brown, in defiance of America's current legal dictatorship, demand that America is "one nation under God."


The will of the people is manipulated by glib tongued orators and activist judges who have no understanding of the law. Let us go to the source. From Black's Law Dictionary under lawful, "The principle distinction between the terms ‘lawful' and ‘legal' is that the former contemplates the substance of the law, the latter the form of law." What is the substance of the law? What is the form of law? The substance of the law is that certain principles of right and justice which are entitled to prevail of their own intrinsic excellence, altogether regardless of the attitude of those who wield the physical resources of the community. The form of law is whatever the makers and keepers of the law say it is. Legal is merely a construction of the law. Hitler's law was "legal." I'm reminded that from the cross, Jesus said, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." Twenty years later, his people were taken into Roman slavery. People change but the law is everlasting. The enslaved remain seeking their freedom and independence.


The form of law boils down to the law of the jungle, where might makes right. The United States of America, the mightiest nation on earth-and lawless as Nazi Germany-is not long for this world, for man's mind is inextricably connected with nature's immaterial essence. To be lawful, every law must conform to the Higher Law, background of America's Constitution. Man is created with reason. Fundamental to the law is reason-coupled with nothing is real until we observe. It's a scientifically proven fact. What do we observe? We, the people, will ourselves to be whatever we choose to be. So what is it to be, enslavement or liberty?

The Truth about Government

When America's Constitution was ordained by the people, America was the envy of the world, because individual freedom was uppermost in the Founding Fathers' minds.

San Francisco is a reminder that we do not need to be the mightiest military power in the world-also a reminder that San Francisco is a mindless wonder. The military will not be able to recruit in San Francisco's public schools anymore, but what does San Francisco offer in place of the military? If we were constitutional, we would not need the mightiest military on the planet,  nor would we have San Francisco's discombobulation.


We're unaware of our heartbeat, breathing, or digestion. It's automatic. And too, all of life has a built-in sex drive and the drive to survive. So what's the big deal, San Francisco?   Why all the fanfare over what comes natural?  One is not a behavioristic animal doing what comes natural. To be a person, common sense says, one must be consciously aware of his experiences; that is, one has an inner sense of right and wrong. Although this self I mention is immaterial, it interrelates with our mechanical self. San Francisco puts the cart before the horse---has no moral compass. 

When I was a penniless pauper and unable to pay my rent on my take-home pay, government was nowhere to be seen. Government does not recognize the self. Like the victim of a hit and run driver on the national news, nobody gave me aid.  Nobody cared. It was a hard choice I made. Government is mechanical, without feelings, without personal experience.  As if I'm nothing, the tax collector put me on the street. In the first place, why was this self, struggling to survive, interrelating with mechanical, non-feeling, inexperienced government? The mightiest military power in the world makes might right. The United States is lawless, without compassion, without human intelligence.  

I departed the most powerful and corrupt establishment in t he world. I went on my own.  Right off the bat, Government made life extremely hard for me.  The American people, now focused on the mechanical man, leaves San Francisco free to reinvent the individual according to its idea of what we aught to be, leaves Uncle Sam free to put into practice his idea of what we aught to be, religion with its ideas of what we aught to be. 

Fortunately, in spite of  my society's best efforts to keep me from being my self, I did not respond positively to any of the many ideas on what I aught to be. It was my will that drove me. I  overcame all obstacles. Might did not make right. It was my way. My rewards have been great.


Answers for America's problems have been obvious for years. The American people have known that oil consumption was going to be more than supply. They have known that Social Security and Medicare were going bankrupt. They have known that they were using up their credit. Un believably, no cures are yet in effect. The American people sat complacently by and let it all happen. Currently in a credit crunch, fuel has skyrocketed, as have health care costs, and now lost jobs, the American people are just beginning  feel the inevitable woes. They gnash their teeth, but the fact is that they are up a creek without a paddle. And worse, they don't have the experience to know what to do. They've been relying on authority.


My answer for America's fuel shortage is to start drilling for oil and building refineries.  But that's only part of the answer. America's railroads and government need to form a partnership. The money to bring America's railroads up to speed, up to 200 m.p.h., needs to be raised to elimate all grade crossing and lay stronger track.  Railroads are taxed too much, truck transportation too little. They don't carry their weight in costs. They are breaking up our highways a thousand times faster than automobiles. Besides trucks paying the high cost of fuel, as railroads are brought up to speed, truck taxes should be raised. Let supply and demand work. The fuel saving would be tremendous.  The oil industry, instead of paying CEOs and stockholders far more than normal dividends, should be required to put higher than normal profits into research and development of alternative fuels.


Social Security, Medicare, and all other government entitlements should start being fazed out. The American people should have been educated to depend on the economy instead of government. Government dependence is bankrupting the nation. Federal income tax and the IRS should be abolished. A new taxing system should be established that encourages free enterprise and self-reliance.


America's judges have become legalized dictators. The entire legal code should be abolished. A new code should be strictly in accord with the original intent of the U. S. Constitution, which placed the individual first.


The privately owned banker's paradise, the Federal Reserve Bank, should be abolished. Government should print our money and be forced by law to spend no more than it takes in.


With my recommendations, the American economy would be stimulated in every way. With the present government way, America is going bankrupt and at the same time making taxpayers tax slaves. Since America is a government of the people, I'd give the people back their rights and responsibilities by giving politicians one year terms in office with no perks. 


Your liberty is not automatic. When have you ever heard a politician offer any of my good sense recommendations? The last thing any politician wants is an independent individual. The price of freedom is our individual vigilance forever and always.
