Survival of the Fittest
Should I forget my adversarial position with America's hated IRS? My today's blog concerns the IRS, who now writes me the following: "You are entitled." Not to mention my Social Security entitlement and my disabled veteran's entitlement, I'm government entitled to an economic stimulus payment of $600 as provided by the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008.
Let us spend a few moments thinking about economic stimulus. "Your payment is based on information you submitted on your 2007 federal income tax return, " writes the IRS. The information I submitted on my 07 tax return included that I owed no federal income tax. In fact, it is the first tax return I've filed in years. If you don't have taxable income, you don't need to file a tax return. I'm living on my non-taxable government entitlements.
President Andrew Jackson-Stonewall Jackson-went to the American people for his support. He did away with America's Central Bank. He gave us "Greenbacks" backed by gold. America's economy, based on credit, depends on a central bank. Federal Reserve notes, rather than by gold, are backed by the American people's promise to pay all debts public and private.
How did a central bank come back? Powerful European bankers and their American shill, J.P. Morgan, paid a few members of Congress to slip in the Federal Reserve Bank when most members of Congress were home for Christmas holidays. Birds of a feather flock together. Bankers profit by loaning money. Politicians profit by handing out borrowed money. America's government considers it government's duty to keep the individual. Politicians call it our entitlement.
America's Federal Reserve Bank, more than likely owned by private banking interests in Europe-we, the people, know not who owns the stock-gives us lower interest rates to stimulate the economy. The housing boom was based on low interest rates. In many areas of the U.S., homes are going back to banks by the thousands. There is no market for homes in those areas.
With the bloom off America's booming economy, and dwindling tax revenues, the government hopes to stimulate the economy by handing out borrowed money. I'm being flooded with adverting to borrow. Many Americans owe more now than they can pay. Yet we've got to borrow more to keep the economy rolling.
Standing shoulder to shoulder before America's congressional representatives, a five company oil monopoly the other day claimed the price of fuel is based on the law of supply and demand. There goes our discretionary spending. We've got to let the law of supply and demand, though various monopolies, such as drug companies and socialized medicine, work its will on us. Rather than supply and demand, it is payola. Might makes right.
Where does this leave the government entitled? We live in a government hothouse. The government borrows money from the central bank, which is probably owned and controlled by European bankers, who own the printing presses that print Federal Reserve Notes. Private bankers-who knows who they are-print the loan money. Government hands it out to stimulate the economy. America's taxpayers pay interest to said private bankers. The interest paid on America's national debt would allow every American family to own a new home.
I'm reminded that a tax court judge asked me why I should not pay federal income tax when everyone else does. My answer to said judge: "My first obligation, rather than to government, is to exist on the fruits of my own labor." Am I right or wrong?
Note: The United States claims it is backed by Brushaber v. Union Pacific R.R. (1916). In reference to the income tax, which became law in 1916, the court: When "under the seeming exercise of the taxing power, the taxing statute is so arbitrary as to compel the conclusion that it was not the exertion of taxation, but the confiscation of property, or is so wanting in basis for classification as to inevitably to produce such a gross and patent inequity as inevitably to lead to the same conclusion," it is not taxation. It is confiscation.
The tax court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court all held against my notion. America's government holds that I have no right to exist on the fruits of my own labor. Paying my income tax comes first.
Based on the knowledge that printing press money depreciates in value, it pays to owe money as long as you can easily pay it back. No problem for the government entitled, who are guaranteed to receive cost of living increases to take care of the devaluation of money. If the government entitled owe and the medium of exchange shrinks in value to half its former worth, the government entitled receive twice as much, the government entitled owe half as much. Not so with working Americans. If they are paid twice as much to take care of the devaluation of the medium of exchange, they owe in taxes more that twice as much. Moreover, a sick economy means working people lose their jobs. They can't pay their mortgage payments They lose their homes.
It's nice to be government entitled. I'm now age 82. When Social Security became law, the average age was 63. Social Security tax was a small fraction of today's cost. I've been government entitled 20 years. When I was a taxpayer working on a minimum paying job, my after tax income would not pay for a roof over my head. I was locked out. In Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Iraq, one could be government entitled if he or she supported Hitler, Stalin, or Saadam. The fate of supporters of dictatorships has been very bad. I voluteered my services to fight Hitler. I'm not going to forget that the Nazi IRS, approved of by the courts and Congress, taxed me out of a minimum existence.
As told by a brain doctor, Evan Harris Walker, "the tests of Bell's theorem have shown that objective reality as it has been conceived is not the true fabric of reality. The observer interacts with matter. . . We have found ways to take the measure of consciousness, to study its contact with the functions of the brain, and to discover how the mind, through the agency of the will, affect matter and transcends the limits of space and time."
In other words, government dependence is fool's gold. As a being of Power, Intelligence and Love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which may make himself what he wills. James Allen in As a Man Thinketh.
As a Gaia Community ambassador, it is incumbent upon me to bring this to your attention. The bottom line is that America's representatives don't give you anything. They are worthless. They speak with forked tongues. Depending on others to keep you ultimately comes to a bad end.
