Integrity

It blows my mind to read this kind of stuff. "Since 1974, integrity has been a faithful witness of God's inclusive love to the Episcopal Church and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Integrity joins with those expressing profound disappointment at President-elect Barrack Obama's choice of Rick Warren to deliver the invocation at the upcoming inauguration. . . This unfortunate choice is particularly painful to LGBT, Americans who have experienced first hand the destructive impact of pastors like Warren who preach family values while preaching discrimination against gay and lesbian families."

I have a question to you people who have this problem that involves reason and logic. Integrity means uncompromising adherence to moral and ethical principles. How can one adhere to something as nebulous as moral and ethical principles are in today's looney America?

When I was age 14, my parents gave me a sex book, which told me that if I even thought about sex I was committing a mortal sin. How unreasonable can anyone get? Where do you think that crazy idea originated? In the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and covered themselves with fig leaves. I figured that since I couldn't stop thinking about sex, that I better enjoy it while I could. I lost my virginity when I was age 14. But the guilt I felt could easily have perverted me. What is reasonable and logical about making sex sinful? Nature makes it a most pleasing experience, and for a very good reason: our existence. Man makes it a sin. What are you talking about? You are trying to make your perversion O.K. In my view, the big bad thing we've made out of sex is the very reason that some people go to such great pains to make perverted sex inclusive of God's love. Give us a break! I hate to think about it. How terrible it must be for the people who don't practice sex the normal, natural way.

"All inclusive" applies to a large number of Americans in these looney times. They have a problem with reason and logic, which are fundamental to the law. To these Americans, the law is raw political power. Integrity is to the law as oxygen is to life, but lawyers and judges manage to separate the two. The broadening of "discrimination," as we find in the above nutty statement, is a lawless travesty. Marriage is defined in my dictionary as "the social institution under which a man and a woman live as husband and wife by legal or religious commitment." What do we do, rewrite the dictionary to accommodate same sex marriage?

To the author of nonsensical political blather herein, God, a figment of the imagination, whatever it takes to elbow your way into political favor, let us be aware that religion is often a political convenience to make you right and everyone who disagrees with you wrong. "But he (Jesus), knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; a house divided against itself falleth." So be it. We've got a many splintered meaning of integrity.

Backing Jesus' words to the wise in the house divided parable, under the word "lawful" in Black's Law Dictionary: "The principle distinction between the terms ‘lawful' and ‘legal' is that the former contemplates the substance of the law, the latter the form of the law." Same as Hitler's notion of "legal" in Nazi Germany-anything "legal" acceptable to America's professional liars and frauds-namely, our "legal" institution, reason and logic, fundamental to the law, not part of the "legal" agenda, America's lawyers are playing a shell game for personal gain.

These are, indeed, transitory times, the future uncertain. An authority on reading the stars, and our future, James Redfield, author of The Celestine Prophecy, for 25 bucks, mailed me an audio tape of what the stars told him about me.

"We all start at immature levels of ego functions. We have a sense of security based on how much we feel in charge of our lives. We want to keep the idea that things are going fine. We have goals we want to achieve. We need to manipulate things to keep everything just right. We need to keep this allusion for security purposes. If new information comes in, we can act defensively. We don't want information that rocks the boat." Is that right or wrong?

"What happens is that this allusion, based on security control, has to shift to our inner connection, our God-self force that gives us a sense of well being no matter what's going on out there. We have to make that opening on the inside." Hello! Did you get that?

"As you get in touch with your inner energy and start to get in touch with your higher self, you will be guided into how to find that true work expression. It will be shown to you intuitively. This becomes the way you uplift everyone who comes into your life. When you evolve into your higher self you energize those who cross your path. This becomes your greatest talent." Now I ask you people with the sex problem, is this not good advice?

Redfield told me he was looking at the archetypical me, how I would feel as I went go through life, how I could naturally uplift people. He gave me information that would help me discover my spiritual mission. He talked about a new image of what it means to be a human being, how to think of ourselves as growing, evaluating, understanding. He talked about our God-self energy. How to bring to consciousness my reactions and determine whether or not they were mature or immature-"when we can step back and look at our higher self," said he. "When need becomes strength." I'm the Virgo archetype. To make things better, said Redfield, I have to be organized in my thinking.

To be quite honest, in 1975, my house divided, it fell. I was left on my own in a world that cared nothing about my problem. A strange thing happened. I was drawn to the law. In my studies of the law, I got the feeling that voices of the past were speaking to me. I had a bigger than life calling. I attacked the law in practice and the law in practice lost big time. So, when you talk about changing things, you better think that some things don't change.

I'll tell you what my mind loves: the unknown. It imagines many things about which I write here. Although the meaning may remain unknown out there, I can say that in all of this I mention here, I'm helped to find love. My house is united.

To be honest I only read a few things of this entry because I can’t stay long and I wanted to reply. One thing that caught my eye was the sex thing. I absolutely agree with you, I was born to a family that never talked to me about sex- lucky enough I went to a school that taught us about it.

Sex is great, if I could have sex everyday of my life I would have it, but I’m aware that it would be different if I were younger. I think parents try their best to keep sex out of their child’s curiosity so they won’t try it when they’re not ready. But I’m a true believer that knowledge beats everything and it would be better to talk to kids about this issue rather then giving missinformation that could eventually confuse the child even more.
