The Self Fulfilling Prophecy
It's a wonder that after being created with reason and logic how few want to know the nitty gritty of human life. Some of my blogs are read by many. Very few read my blog on human life. How one thinks of himself or herself is one's reality. If one thinks little of himself or herself, he or she will naturally try to bring others down to his or her level. America's morals are in a free fall. Neither religion nor the makers and keepers of the law are doing their moral duty. For the good of all, therefore, it behooves society to help the individual feel good about his self or her self. We can't depend on authority.
Imagine how you would feel about yourself were you relegated to the street by the law of the land. Would you beg? Would you put a bullet through your head? Would you fight back?
Astrologers Sakoian and Acker, in Astrologer's Handbook, under "Saturn trine Pluto," have this to say about me: "This trine gives the natives the ability to understand the laws by which subtle forces are organized. . . Often there is a sense of destiny or a peculiar karmic mission which they must fulfill."
I was sent to you. Although I was not aware of my bigger than life calling at the time, in 1975, after being locked out of my apartment for non-payment of rent (I was working on minimum wages and 21 percent was being taken from me in federal withholding tax), I attacked Uncle Sam's federal income tax by taking the Commissioner of Internal Revenue to the U.S. Supreme Court. The case is on record as Case No. 1570 in the October term of 1980. I was deprived of a basic existence by tax law. I got nowhere in America's system of justice.
At any rate, fighting back gave me a feeling of my higher purpose in being. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear my case. I took it to The Palm Beach Post. It was published on the front page of "Local News" on December 1, 1986 under "Taxpayer wages 11-year feud with IRS." The IRS admitted in the article that for the entire 11 years it had been wrongly taking the property of a low-pay worker.
I was in Tax Court, in three U.S. District Courts, and in the U.S. Court of Appeals prior to the U.S. Supreme Court. The IRS got away with wrongly putting me on the street. I was not heard. My fight was for millions of U.S. taxpayers just like me who are kept out of site, out of the public's mind.
I've now been declared a totally disabled veteran of World War II. I'm receiving a government check. I risked my life for the case of freedom. My cause is still the same. I'm being paid back for the years I was cheated out of a basic existence by Uncle Sam.
An authority is anyone, including Attila the Hun, Hitler, Stalin, the worst despots in history, with the right to determine, adjudicate, or otherwise control. An authority does so by making rules that demand this or that of everyone under said authority's control, rightly or wrongly. The IRS wrongly, with public approval, put me on the street and admitted it, without consequence. The case was authority ignoring reason and logic, which is basic to the law-by and through government entitlements-by granting certain individuals government assistance at taxpayer expense. The public is ignorant of the facts, and if not that, too complacent to do anything about it. The majority of the American population, receiving some form of benefit from government, be it a job, a contract, grant in aid, or a pig in the poke, those who are willing to let well enough alone, don't want a change.
Government entitlement is based on generalities, such as an individual's age. An individual 80 years old may be in better health than a 30 year-old. At the bottom of it all, government entitlement is political pandering for the vote.
Government is allowed, under the law, to tax Americans for the general welfare, like building roads and public facilities, like defense of the nation. My father invested less than a thousand dollars in Social Security. He retired at age 65 and received a $500 monthly check until he died at age 92. You can't beat that investment. I'm 82. I'm ahead of the game in money invested in Social Security and money received. My children will pay more than they receive, for Social Security is a pyramid game.
As the cost of government entitlements goes up, the case grows stronger to declare government entitlement unconstitutional. One of these days my case is going to be acted upon. Authority sanctioned slavery in America. It caused a bloodbath. Government entitlement will not last. One way or another it will go the way of all injustice.
It always comes down to this. I've brought my case, which I personally took before America's corrupt system of justice, to you to make this point: it is a great mistake to look to authority for your answers. The Higher Law requires that one must look within for his or her answers.
Sadly, people don't want to hear the truth. It is ironic that millions are coming to America to be free. The reality of it is that the American people let the horse out of the gate. And for what? By making this mistake in judgement, they are certain to lose their freedom.

Help

they have no freedom to lose, by virtue of the fact that they allow authority to make all decisions for them. they do not want to hear your truth, because you are trying to show them the greatness in themselves, and that SCARES heck out of people.
freedom, like happiness, is something we either have NOW, or not. It's not a vague nebulous goal to strive for. we all of us have the opportunity to choose to be free. it really is that simple. so simple nobody wants to understand. they want things overcomplicated, like internal combustion engines (or tax laws, as the case may be), when a simpler solution has always been available.
thank you bunches. your words do help a lot.

I love what friendstacy wrote above. I second it. So true, it still scares me even, I admit. Wow! You know what I mean? The truth is so wow….!
Great Post Joe!
Stacy, I totally agree!
I JUST got a link from a friend here to a Osho's Zen Tarot site…I picked a card and what it said reminded me of this post, so I had to come here and share it…
My chosen card is (duh) THE REBEL…
“People are afraid, very much afraid of those who know themselves. They have a certain power, a certain aura and a certain magnetism, a charisma that can take out alive, young people from the traditional imprisonment….
The enlightened man cannot be enslaved - that is the difficulty - and he cannot be imprisoned…. Every genius who has known something of the inner is bound to be a little difficult to be absorbed; he is going to be an upsetting force. The masses don't want to be disturbed, even though they may be in misery; they are in misery, but they are accustomed to the misery. And anybody who is not miserable looks like a stranger.
The enlightened man is the greatest stranger in the world; he does not seem to belong to anybody. No organization confines him, no community, no society, no nation.
Osho The Zen Manifesto: Freedom from Oneself Chapter 9
Commentary:
The powerful and authoritative figure in this card is clearly the master of his own destiny. On his shoulder is an emblem of the sun, and the torch he holds in his right hand symbolizes the light of his own hard-won truth.
Whether he is wealthy or poor, the Rebel is really an emperor because he has broken the chains of society's repressive conditioning and opinions. He has formed himself by embracing all the colors of the rainbow, emerging from the dark and formless roots of his unconscious past and growing wings to fly into the sky. His very way of being is rebellious - not because he is fighting against anybody or anything, but because he has discovered his own true nature and is determined to live in accordance with it. The eagle is his spirit animal, a messenger between earth and sky.
The Rebel challenges us to be courageous enough to take responsibility for who we are and to live our truth.”
Pretty much on target huh?
I wrote a blog in reply before I read these comments. It backs what you guys say and I say.
Keep your cards and letters coming.
